You’re Not Missing Skills. You’re Missing Ownership.

This new year feels different for me.

Not because I’m setting resolutions.

Not because everything is magically “figured out.”

But because I’ve crossed a threshold.

Last year, I celebrated 10 years in business. And in that reflection, something became even clearer than before:

I fully understand my value now.

Not just as a coach.

Not just as a facilitator.

But as a consultant who helps people turn complexity into clarity.

What 10 Years in Business Taught Me

Here’s the truth I didn’t fully grasp in year one—or even year five:

My value isn’t in how hard I work.

It’s in how clearly I can see patterns, problems, and pathways forward.

When I stepped back and looked at my journey—corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, rebuilding, refining, and now relaunching my consulting practice—I realized something important:

The best way I can help women in this season

is not by encouraging them to start from scratch…

It’s by helping them use what they already have.

That clarity is why I recently relaunched my consulting practice with intention and confidence.

And it’s why the work I’m most excited about right now centers here.

The Problem I See Everywhere

So many brilliant women are sitting on years—sometimes decades—of expertise.

They are:

  • The go-to problem solver on their team
  • The person leadership trusts to “figure it out”
  • The one pulled into meetings to offer perspective without the title

Yet when it comes to themselves, they say:

“I don’t know what I’d offer.”

“I wouldn’t even know where to start.”

“Who would pay me for this?”

I know this space well—because I lived it.

Corporate trains you to execute, not to own your expertise.

And entrepreneurship requires both.

That gap is where confidence wobbles… and ideas stall.

What Changed Everything for Me

Once I stopped trying to become something new

and focused on claiming what I already knew—

Everything shifted.

My offers became clearer.

My confidence deepened.

My work felt more aligned and more profitable.

That’s when it hit me:

This isn’t about “starting a business.”

It’s about recognizing that consulting is already happening—you just haven’t claimed it yet.

Introducing: The Consultant Already in You – Starter Kit

I created this Starter Kit to give women the clarity I wish I had sooner.

This isn’t hype.

It’s not theory.

And it’s not about hustling into entrepreneurship.

It’s designed to help you:

  • Identify the skills people already rely on you for
  • Translate your experience into a clear consulting lane
  • Understand the problems you’re uniquely equipped to solve
  • Stop second-guessing what you bring to the table

This is about seeing yourself clearly—and building from there.

A New Year. A Clearer Way Forward.

As we step into a new year, I want you to hear this:

You don’t need permission.

You don’t need another credential.

You don’t need to wait until you feel “ready.”

You already have value.

You already have expertise.

You already have something someone needs.

If this season feels like one of clarity, confidence, and ownership—this is your starting point.

PS: If you go through the Starter Kit and find yourself thinking, “Okay… I see it, but I want help tightening this,” that’s exactly what the Clarity Session is for. It’s a focused, 1-on-1 conversation where we take what you already know and shape it into something you can confidently move on—without overthinking or second-guessing.

Am I Ready… Or Am I Just Curious?
I’ve been noticing something lately. Some women come to me with 25+ years of experience, leading teams and driving strategy, asking: “Do you think I’m ready to consult?” And others come quietly, almost whispering: “I don’t even know if what I do counts.” Different levels.Different titles.Same question. Am I ready? And here’s what I’ve learned: Most women aren’t confused about their capability. ...
The Space Between Where You’ve Been and What’s Next
I shared a reel this week about my new office—but what I didn’t say there is why this move mattered more than the logistics.   After ten years in business, you stop making decisions just to prove you’re growing. You start making them because you can feel when something no longer fits.   This office wasn’t on a vision board. It wasn’t part of a five-year plan. It showed up because I was paying a...
Starting Over (Even When You’re Experienced)
For the last 10 years, I ran a DEI consulting practice. And before that? Nearly 20 years in corporate—leading, advising, building, fixing, carrying. That business wasn’t random. It was a direct extension of the work I had already mastered. And yet… here I am.Relaunching.Repositioning.Reintroducing myself. And if I’m being honest, it feels like starting over. Not because I lack experience. Not bec...
