What I’m Finally Done Carrying Into 2026

This past week has been full of thought work — the kind that doesn’t always look productive on the outside, but absolutely transforms you on the inside.

I’ve been deep in the rebrand of my consulting practice as I approach 10 years of entrepreneurship. That alone is wild to say out loud. But instead of anxiety, I’ve felt something different this time:

Ease. Excitement. Alignment.

And here’s the unexpected part…
I’m entering December without that familiar “I’m exhausted and counting the minutes until the holiday break” energy.

Instead, I feel steady. Present.
Clear enough to take advantage of the natural slowdown and really map out where I’m headed in 2026 — in business and in life.

A few nights ago, my daughter asked me a simple question:
“What do you want to leave in 2025?”

And my answer surprised me.

I told her: I want to leave behind the version of myself that talked me out of the things I actually wanted.
You know that voice — the hag in the attic.
Loud, dramatic, full of reasons why you shouldn’t do the thing you know you’re called to do.

In 2025, she had way too much influence.
So in 2026? Not a chance.

Everything I talked myself out of before?
I’m doing it. Saying yes to it. Becoming the woman who chooses her future over her fears.

Lesson of the Week: Your Future Needs You to Stop Shrinking

We all have that internal voice that tries to “protect” us from change. But growth doesn’t happen in protection.
It happens in motion.
In experimentation.
In taking yourself seriously — before anyone else does.

And this season?
It’s calling you to rise a little higher.

Whether you’re building a business, launching a consultancy, or stepping into a new identity… your future requires a more courageous version of you.

The version who tries the thing she’s been avoiding.
The version who trusts her skills — not her doubts.
The version who believes she’s capable of more than the role she’s been limited to.

This is the perfect time to start moving like her.

For My Women in Transition — Read This ✨

This is the time of year when doubt gets loud… and so does desire.
If you’ve been feeling the nudge to build something of your own — something rooted in your expertise, your value, and your voice — that nudge matters.

But you don’t have to figure it out alone.

That’s why I share this newsletter each week.
It’s where I unpack what I’m learning, what’s shifting in the workplace, and how to trust the consultant that’s already in you.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, come join the journey.

Question for You This Week

What do you want to leave in 2025?
And what version of yourself do you want to walk into 2026 with?

Write it down.
Say it out loud.
And choose it like you mean it.

Am I Ready… Or Am I Just Curious?
I’ve been noticing something lately. Some women come to me with 25+ years of experience, leading teams and driving strategy, asking: “Do you think I’m ready to consult?” And others come quietly, almost whispering: “I don’t even know if what I do counts.” Different levels.Different titles.Same question. Am I ready? And here’s what I’ve learned: Most women aren’t confused about their capability. ...
The Space Between Where You’ve Been and What’s Next
I shared a reel this week about my new office—but what I didn’t say there is why this move mattered more than the logistics.   After ten years in business, you stop making decisions just to prove you’re growing. You start making them because you can feel when something no longer fits.   This office wasn’t on a vision board. It wasn’t part of a five-year plan. It showed up because I was paying a...
Starting Over (Even When You’re Experienced)
For the last 10 years, I ran a DEI consulting practice. And before that? Nearly 20 years in corporate—leading, advising, building, fixing, carrying. That business wasn’t random. It was a direct extension of the work I had already mastered. And yet… here I am.Relaunching.Repositioning.Reintroducing myself. And if I’m being honest, it feels like starting over. Not because I lack experience. Not bec...
