What Aruba Taught Me About Fear & First Times ✨

This past week, I found myself saying yes in Aruba.

Yes to kayaking—even though the rain was pouring and the waves were rough.

Yes to trying new food—buying fresh fish right from a fisherman and watching him scale and clean it on the spot.

Yes to the unknown—moments that honestly scared me, but stretched me in the best way.

Here’s what I realized: starting something new will always stir up nerves. It’s part of the process. But the reward—the confidence, the memory, the sense of accomplishment—is always greater than the fear.

Whether it’s building a business, launching a new idea, or saying yes to something on your heart, don’t let the “waves” stop you. Ride them instead.

Am I Ready… Or Am I Just Curious?
I’ve been noticing something lately. Am I ready? And here’s what I’ve learned: Most women aren’t confused about their capability. ...
The Space Between Where You’ve Been and What’s Next
I shared a reel this week about my new office—but what I didn’t say there is why this move mattered more than the logistics.   After ten years in business, you stop making decisions just to prove you’re growing. You start making them because you can feel when something no longer fits.   This office wasn’t on a vision board. It wasn’t part of a five-year plan. It showed up because I was paying a...
Starting Over (Even When You’re Experienced)
For the last 10 years, I ran a DEI consulting practice. And before that? Nearly 20 years in corporate—leading, advising, building, fixing, carrying. That business wasn’t random. It was a direct extension of the work I had already mastered. And yet… here I am.Relaunching.Repositioning.Reintroducing myself. And if I’m being honest, it feels like starting over. Not because I lack experience. Not bec...
