Space, Support & Seeing Yourself Differently

This last week was one of those full but meaningful ones.

I spent intentional, quality time with my daughter — the kind that fills you up in ways work never could. At the same time, I’ve been quietly tightening things up behind the scenes in my business. Creating more efficiency. Building systems that support me instead of draining me. Making sure I have the resources I need to grow and breathe.

Those two things are connected more than we realize.

When your business is aligned, your life opens up.

Part of that alignment has also shown up very literally. I’ve made plans to move into a new space in my house that sets me up for even greater success. More room. More intention. More clarity. I’ll share more soon about officially moving my office into our den — this next chapter deserves a space that reflects it.

What I’ve Been Hearing Lately…

Over the past week, I’ve received so many messages about a post I shared — the one where I said:

“What you do in corporate is consulting.”

And the common response?

“I never realized that.”

“I never thought of it that way.”

“No one has ever framed my work like this before.”

That right there is the gap.

So many women are walking around with high-value skills, strategic thinking, leadership experience, and problem-solving expertise… and still don’t see themselves as someone who could monetize it independently.

Not because they aren’t capable — but because no one ever translated their experience out of corporate language.

That’s exactly why I created The Consultant Already In You Starter Kit.

Why the Starter Kit Exists

This isn’t about quitting your job tomorrow.

It’s not about becoming an overnight entrepreneur.

And it’s definitely not about adding pressure.

It’s about clarity.

The Starter Kit helps you:

  • See your corporate experience through a consulting lens
  • Identify what you already know how to do that people pay for
  • Stop underestimating your value
  • Start thinking differently about your options

Even if you never call yourself a “consultant,” this work changes how you show up — in your job, your confidence, and your future planning.

Your Next Step

If that post made you pause…

If you’ve ever thought “I know a lot, but I don’t know how it translates”…

If you’re craving more ownership over your time, income, or direction…

The Consultant Already In You Starter Kit was built for you.

It’s the first step in seeing yourself clearly — and that changes everything.

Get the Starter Kit Here

More soon on the office move, the mindset shifts happening in this season, and what’s coming next.

As always, thank you for being here!

Am I Ready… Or Am I Just Curious?
I’ve been noticing something lately. Some women come to me with 25+ years of experience, leading teams and driving strategy, asking: “Do you think I’m ready to consult?” And others come quietly, almost whispering: “I don’t even know if what I do counts.” Different levels.Different titles.Same question. Am I ready? And here’s what I’ve learned: Most women aren’t confused about their capability. ...
The Space Between Where You’ve Been and What’s Next
I shared a reel this week about my new office—but what I didn’t say there is why this move mattered more than the logistics.   After ten years in business, you stop making decisions just to prove you’re growing. You start making them because you can feel when something no longer fits.   This office wasn’t on a vision board. It wasn’t part of a five-year plan. It showed up because I was paying a...
Starting Over (Even When You’re Experienced)
For the last 10 years, I ran a DEI consulting practice. And before that? Nearly 20 years in corporate—leading, advising, building, fixing, carrying. That business wasn’t random. It was a direct extension of the work I had already mastered. And yet… here I am.Relaunching.Repositioning.Reintroducing myself. And if I’m being honest, it feels like starting over. Not because I lack experience. Not bec...
