If Christmas Feels Like a Lot, Read This

Christmas is beautiful… and A LOT!
Full of joy, expectations, noise, memories, and a whole lot of feeling all at once.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that is the in-between —
the pause between what was and what’s coming next.

This week, I’m choosing presence over productivity.
Moments over milestones.
Gratitude over grind.

If you’re reading this, I hope you give yourself permission to do the same.

Be with your people.
Laugh a little longer.
Rest without explaining yourself.
Hold space for joy, reflection, and the small moments that don’t need to be documented to matter.

There will be time soon enough for goals, plans, and next chapters.
For now, let this week be exactly what it’s meant to be.

Wishing you a holiday filled with warmth, love, peace, and gratitude —
however that looks for you.

Merry Christmas 🤍
See you on the other side of the in-between.

— Char

Am I ready? And here’s what I’ve learned: Most women aren’t confused about their capability. ...
The Space Between Where You’ve Been and What’s Next
I shared a reel this week about my new office—but what I didn’t say there is why this move mattered more than the logistics.   After ten years in business, you stop making decisions just to prove you’re growing. You start making them because you can feel when something no longer fits.   This office wasn’t on a vision board. It wasn’t part of a five-year plan. It showed up because I was paying a...
Starting Over (Even When You’re Experienced)
For the last 10 years, I ran a DEI consulting practice. And before that? Nearly 20 years in corporate—leading, advising, building, fixing, carrying. That business wasn’t random. It was a direct extension of the work I had already mastered. And yet… here I am.Relaunching.Repositioning.Reintroducing myself. And if I’m being honest, it feels like starting over. Not because I lack experience. Not bec...
